This adaptability has contributed significantly to their positive reputation among visitors seeking reliable marine experiences in the Caribbean. Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, the business has faced some criticism regarding customer conduct during customs procedures, though this appears to be an isolated incident given the volume of predominantly five-star reviews praising the overall experience and professionalism of the crew. The ability to customize the charter experience, whether through providing additional shade, specific beverage options, or accommodating schedule changes due to weather, demonstrates a commitment to guest satisfaction. While the majority of reviews are overwhelmingly positive, there are occasional mentions of issues related to customer conduct rather than the service itself, with one reviewer specifically criticizing the behavior of a group during customs procedures and the captain's approach to handling the situation.
In their own words
“I would give them zero stars if I could. Their entitled captain walked 20 people into customs to cut the line in front of waiting visitors. He was rude. The group he brought in was obnoxious. And I do not recommend taking their charter. Update — Their reply below lies about the service being prearranged. It was clear the party did not expect to cut the line. Some were obnoxious while others looked embarrassed and confused. One of them was kind enough to apologize, while the captain said, “You can wait”. There are better charter services to choose from. Again, Zero Stars.”
“WILLIAM BEST CAPTAIN IN THE WORLD. Can't wait for our next trip to the island for another boat day. They made a rum punch for some of us that don't like beer! Great drink options for the day (water, beer, pop, etc) and a floating mat, snorkeling gear and some good music. We will miss William but can't wait to come back!”
“I really appreciated the timely communication. We needed to reschedule due to weather, and it was easily changed. I asked for more shade on our boat Champagne a few weeks before charter, and they provided it. Our captains William and Louis were easygoing, fun and informative. It was a fun day!”
“Jorge and Maria provided a perfect day on the sea for us. They have vast knowledge of the area. They easily navigated to our destinations. We felt safe with them in charge and their sense of hospitality allowed us to really enjoy our day trip on the 63 Sun Seeker.”
