“Just arrived home from one of the best trips I have ever taken. Full disclosure my last two trips were Greece and Italy I have also visited Aruba, curacau, Antigua, Barbados, Turks, caymans, PR, DR etc. my husband and I enjoy boutique style accommodations which is why we originally choose this hotel. ||We dinned at the belmond cap Juluca, the four seasons and visited the spa at Zemi beach house. While I enjoyed visiting these beautiful hotels I could not have been happier where we were at the quintessence. Starting with the mansion itself picture a luxury villa in southern Italy with stone, art, lush gardens and thoughtful vintage touches that make the look and feel of this place other worldly. Everything is curated and there on purpose from the beautiful branded linens, china and every amenity one could ever long for. Since there are only 12 suites you really feel like you are at a home away from home and the level of customer service and attention to detail is something I have never experienced. (In my professional career I manage large luxury multi family residences).||The staff are the real|MVPs of this place, every single person on this property I encountered was pleasant, extremely helpful and made us feel like celebrities. Our housekeeper Ladeicia preforms a turn down service in the evening. Every evening after we arrived home from dinner every shade was drawn, the bed prepared with linens and slippers ready for us. Water on our nightstands and a delicious sweet treat. During the day the shades are all opened the bed is made fresh towels are replaced etc. I basically felt as I had a personal 24/7 butler and to be honest anyone who had anything negative to say there surely was no pleasing them. Concierge/management Sonji is such an asset to this property, her professionalism, knowledge, problem solving and warmness made it a pleasure to interact with her daily. Breakfast which is included (two course sit down) Kevonique was the lovliest most attentive, attention to detail server I have encountered. She remembered how unlike my coffee and when they didn’t have turkey bacon for my husband (not on the menu mind you) she asked if the chef could get us some for the rest of our trip. Arlan and Kerin were so attentive, pleasant and helpful what a great team. ||The beach on the property is so beautiful if you only stayed on site you wouldn’t be disappointed. It is private, white power sand and 10 shades of stunning blues. Every restaurant is within 12 minutes from the hotel which makes it the most perfect location on the island. We stayed in the Belize suite and was blown away by how stunning and large our quarters were. The beach bar is wonderful the drinks and food are top notch. We honestly did not have one bad meal on the island. ||Our flight was leaving later in the day so the staff held our luggage and we were able to use the spa to shower change and unfortunately prepare for our departure. The level of customer service, attention to detail, attentiveness and overall excellence is unparalleled and being in the industry you notice these things more. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you want to be treated like royalty in paradise, thank you for a once in a lifetime trip xox jessica”

“First off, the island and the locals are fantastic. The island is expensive, but worth it (in my opinion). Dinner with a bottle of wine will cost well over $200 at most of the restaurants on the island (including Julian’s). Quintessence is a beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. The resort is small and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. It felt like we were just wealthy and renting an exquisite home. Notable staff: Shawn was very fun and friendly and made the best rum punch I’ve ever tasted at the Coral beach bar. Kevinique was delightful at breakfast in the morning. Sonny was quiet but very genuine and nice at dinner time. All of the bartenders were great. The French chef made great meals. The breakfast pasties were as good as anything in Paris. All of the staff were warm and helpful. It is in a good location (on Long Bay right next to Meads Bay). Very convenient-Walking distance or a quick drive to all the resorts and restaurants on Meads Bay. Don’t go here if you are looking for action, gambling, loud night life. They had a guitar-player on Friday night and a couple of piano players in the lobby on other nights. The resort was apparently fully booked, but was still very quiet. If you want a little more action at night, there was live music at the Malliohana resort down the street. Watching Omari Banks during sunset at Bar Soleil was amazing. Blanchards Beach shack is a casual place to get carry-out. Leons has live music also. Lot’s of other great, high-end, restaurants on Meads Bay to choose from. I recommend renting a car to visit other beaches and restaurants. Too many good things to mention here.”
“We have been to Anguilla many times. The Q was fabulous! We were a little familiar with the property as have dined at Julian’s and Coral Beach Bar. What a treat to actually stay here! Anguilla continues to grow and staying here provided peace and quiet - a true Tranquility wrapped in Blue! On arrival we were gifted a large charcuterie plate, fruit plate and bottle of champagne! This gesture set the tone for our stay. Long Bay was perfect - calm, warm, easy walk in and out, and best part deserted! After a Long Beach day we enjoyed the pool above.|The grounds beautifully landscaped, many palms, flowers, lawns.- felt a lot like Hawaii. The extensive art work a feast for the eyes. I was even given permission to play their Steinway! Although not breakfast people we did enjoy as a perfect quiet way to start the day. Thank you sweet Kevonique. Cocktails at the bar made by talented Devin before dinner so good - especially those Capresse Martinis. Our last night at dinner Sproka’s music added to a romantic evening. It was very hard to leave Q but look forward to returning! Thank you all!”
