“I don’t write reviews often, but we used Island Car Rental on our last trip and they were above and beyond. We have rented from various rental car companies before in Anguilla and they have all been fine, but Island Car Rental had availability for 2 small SUVs when many others didn’t, and you could book it all online with a credit card vs needing to call / WhatsApp. For us, the most helpful thing was that they coordinated with the hotel concierge and were able to drop off and pick up the car without us having to meet them, sign docs, etc - it was all done electronically and saved us SO much time! (Last time we rented from another company they delivered to our hotel but then we had to spend an hour with their rep signing papers etc - not what you want to be doing on vacation). They were also super flexible, and picked up the car a day early when our plans changed. Thank you for making things so seamless and easy - we’ll be back!”
“DO YOU DETAIL A RENTAL YOURSELF BEFORE YOU RETURN IT? IF SO RENT HERE. Got a Jeep on a Caribbean island. You'd think they'd expect sand when the #1, #2, #3, #4 activity on said island is beach hopping. Nope. They charged us the $50 cleaning fee for returning it with 'excessive' dirt. Full tank, not a scrap of trash in it or a single spill or crumb JUST SAND and we even shook out the floor mats before returning it. I responded politely and let them know that Andy's who we rented from last year had no issue with some sand and they responded back with "See clause 6 in the contract" which is open to their own interpretation as to what 'excessive' is. Stay off the beach if you rent from Island I guess.”
“Although I did not rent from Island Car, I would highly recommend. Back story: I rented a car from another Anguilla agency. While driving around picking up coffee and croissants for my family, one of my tires lost air. I happened to see this location and the manager stepped outside to help me. In a few minutes I was following him to a local tire repair shop for a quick fix. Thank you Island Car Rental! You went above and beyond and your hospitality makes Anguilla a special place.”
“We had a great experience with Island Car Rental. We rented an 11 seater van - they had the van waiting for us in the airport parking lot upon our arrival and we were able to leave the rental there when we departed. The van was perfect for our group - clean and no issues. We would use them again next time we're in Anguilla and highly recommend.”
