“I've been to Ocean Echo several times over the years, and while the service has always been just okay, this was by far the worst experience I've had. We arrived and asked to sit on the beach. The host told us a server would be down shortly. After waiting 40 minutes without anyone acknowledging us, we called the restaurant. They apologized and said someone would be there soon. Another 15 minutes passed and still no one came, so we finally had to walk up and place our own order. The food was just as disappointing. I ordered the chicken wrap, and it was honestly the worst wrap I've ever had. It was packed with cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, and carrots, and barely resembled a chicken wrap. It felt like leftover vegetables had been thrown into a tortilla and served. When we were ready to leave, we once again had to walk up to the counter just to ask for the check. I politely explained how disappointed I was with the service. After processing my payment, the cashier told me she had forgotten to charge me for the water and expected me to pay again. I explained that I would not be paying a second time because the mistake was hers, not mine. I asked to speak with a manager four separate times, and every request was ignored. It's unfortunate because this used to be a place I enjoyed visiting, but the quality of both the service and food has clearly gone downhill. This was my last visit, and I would not recommend Ocean Echo to anyone.”
“I had breakfast at Ocean Echo, and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip. The combination of excellent food, beautiful beachfront views, and friendly service made it an easy place to relax and spend a few hours. The food was top notch. Between our group, we tried the waffles and wings, the breakfast platter, a 3 egg omelet, and a veggie omelet, and not a single dish disappointed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. It was one of those meals where everyone at the table was happy with what they ordered. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and the service remained consistent even after we finished eating and moved down to the beach. I really appreciated that we didn’t feel forgotten once we left the restaurant seating. One of the best features of Ocean Echo is its oceanfront setup. They have beach chairs available so you can easily transition from breakfast to a relaxing beach day without having to relocate. If you need one, towels are available to rent for just $5, which is a nice convenience for visitors. Overall, Ocean Echo offers a great combination of excellent food, beautiful beachfront scenery, and attentive service. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast or planning to spend the day by the water, it’s absolutely worth a visit while in Anguilla.”
